A Villa Rica woman accused of stealing nearly $10,000 from a Girl Scout troop is charged with felony theft by taking.
 
49-year old Darlene Jo Lewis was treasurer for a scout troop between 2010 and 2012.
 
Lewis allegedly used the money to purchase everyday personal items for herself and her family, including purchases from Wal-mart and a Christian bookstore.
 
She is also accused of spending some of the money with a senior dating service.
