Villa Rica High School Names New Athletic Director/Head Football Coach

Villa Rica, GA -- (Carrollton, Georgia - January 17, 2013) Villa Rica High School has named Mr. Chad Frazier their new Athletic Director/Head Football Coach. Coach Frazier graduated from Valdosta State University with an undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education; he later earned a M. Ed. in Education Leadership at Columbus State University. He also holds an Ed. S. in Education Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.

Before coming to Villa Rica High School Coach Frazier served as the head coach at Heritage High School in Rockdale, GA from 2007-2013. At Heritage, Coach Frazier had a 38-26 record, with a Region Championship in 2011 and state playoff appearances in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Coach Frazier was named the 2011 Region 8-AAAA Coach of the Year.
Coach Frazier started his coaching career in 1997 at Lowndes High School during his student teaching internship serving as an offensive assistant. In 1998 he worked at Hawkinsville High School as the middle school defensive coordinator and an assistant to the varsity offensive line. From 1999-2001 he served as offensive coordinator, offensive line and strength coach at Harris County High School. In 2002-2006 he served as offensive coordinator, quarterbacks, and strength coach at Northgate High School.

Villa Rica Football has had success and I look forward to working with players, coaches, parents and community to make sure we have success in the future. We will work hard, be disciplined, play with great pride and create an air of excitement around the Villa Rica Football program,” Frazier said.

Coach Frazier is married to Sarah Frazier, who teaches Business Education and is the Head Coach of Competition Cheerleaders at Northgate High School. They have a daughter, 10, Callie.
