Victim Plans To Sue Grocery Store

Carrollton Ga -- A female University of West Georgia student who was abducted outside of the Carrollton Kroger last September, has said she plans to sue the grocery store for what her attorney has called a lack of security at the time of her abduction.

It was September 5th of 2017, at around 11:30pm when the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Timothy Wilson, allegedly forced his way into the woman’s car and then took her to an abandoned church off I-20 in Atlanta, where police said it appeared she was sexually assaulted.

Wilson was caught by police less than 10 hours after the incident. He remains in an Atlanta jail and charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and aggravated assault against a police officer. Carrollton Police additionally charged him with kidnapping, hijacking of a motor vehicle and aggravated assault.

Speaking about her planned lawsuit, the victim told Buzz Feed News that Wilson took a lot away from her life and the incident shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
