Two Villa Rica Men Charged With Armed Robbery

Carrollton Ga -- A late night drug deal didn't turn out the way a Villa Rica teenager had planned. He was actually robbed by the men he had expected to purchase marijuana from.

The 16-year-old victim notified local police of the robbery, and admitted his plans to purchase pot, as well.

The Carroll County Sheriff's office has now charged two men with armed robbery.

The victim told deputies that he was waiting outside of the Sandhill BP and at around 10:30pm, two men arrived. Instead of making a transaction,  the men insisted the victim hand over his money and then threatened to kill the teen with the gun that the victim said was visible in the waistband of the suspect's pants.The victim gave up all of his money, which was more than $250. The car sped off and the victim notified police.

Deputies were able to identify the individuals during their investigation.17-year-old Nicholas Pearson and 20-year-old John Bailey, both of Villa Rica, have been charged with armed robbery.
