Three Carroll County Schools Received 2017 Greatest Gains Awards

Carrol County Ga -- The Governor's Office of Student Achievement announced the 2017 Greatest Gains Award winners and three Carroll County schools were recognized for their progress. 
 
Bowdon Middle School received a bronze award, a silver went to Glanton-Hindsman Elementary and Temple High was awarded top honors as a platinum level school. 
 
The Greatest Gains Awards are based on the three year average of the Career and College Ready Performance Index Progress Score and to receive a platinum level, Temple had an average in the 99th percentile of all public schools in the state. 
 
Superintendent of Carroll County Schools, Scott Cowart commented, “The three schools that were recognized as being 2017 Greatest Gains winners continue to meet and exceed expectations for academic progress and are focused on success for all students.”
