Temple Man Arrested In Birmingham

Birmingham Ga -- A Temple man is one of three suspects facing charges after an ongoing investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Birmingham, Alabama.

Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit had a methamphetamine distributor under surveillance detail and stopped the suspect's vehicle for a traffic violation near I-65 south.

A subsequent search of the suspect's car revealed 5.5 ounces of methamphetamine, hydrocodone tablets, marijuana, and digital scales. The drugs have a street value of $12,000.

Among those arrested was 37-year-old Jeremy Cole of Temple.

All three suspects are being held in the Jefferson County jail on a $265,000 bond each.
