Carrollton City Schools have begun the search for a new middle school principal following announcement that Jason Mundorf will not return for the 2013-2014 school year.
“As of Monday night, he accepted a Superintendent’s job in the middle part of Nebraska,”
Carrollton-City Schools’ Superintendent Dr. Kent Edwards said Wednesday. “Anytime you have good people running your schools or working within your school system their going to be attractive to other systems. So, we see this as complimentary. We are wishing him well. It is a loss for us… and we are obviously going to start the process… almost immediately… to replace him.”
Mundorf is reportedly interested in being closer to his parents in the Cornhusker state.
He will complete his second full-year as Carrollton Middle School principal.
