NWS Confirms Tornado Did Touch-Down In Carroll Last Week

Weather officials confirm that a tornado did touchdown in Carroll County during severe weather last Wednesday. It was one of six they confirmed that day in north Georgia alone.
Officals say an EF-0 with 75 mile per hour winds touched down in Bowdon Junction at 12:53pm on November 30th.
An EF-0 tornado is defined as breaking branches off trees and pushing over shallow-rooted trees. Confirmed tornadoes with no reported damage are always rated EF-0.
