Grant Allows Athletes To Dress For Success

The Warren and Ava Sewell Foundation recently awarded a $2500.00 grant to Temple High School for the Dress for Success & Etiquette Program. Coach Steve Robinson, head basketball and track coach, wrote the grant request and was honored to know it was funded by the foundation.

Coach Robinson developed this program to assist the athletes at Temple High School in dressing for success. The emphasis of the program is to help the students develop skills and character that is used beyond the court and field in real life settings. Funds are designated to provide sport coats with the school crest for the athletes to wear for special occasions.

The Warren and Ava Sewell Foundation is a charitable corporation, which is a private foundation. Each year, the foundation receives numerous requests for aid for very worthy causes. Over the years, this foundation has supported many local school projects with a focus on helping students succeed. The generosity and contributions are greatly appreciated by the schools and community.
