GA Milestones Testing Is Next Week

Haralson County Schools Superintendent Jerry Bell tells students and their parents to enjoy spring break this week… but be prepared for Georgia Milestones testing when they come back to school the following week.
Bell has said the results of this second year for milestones testing will be an important factor in deciding whether or not the district will continue on a 4-day school week or return to a 5-day schedule in 2017/18 year.
“Immediately following spring break, starting the end of the following week, we fire up the milestones testing which continues into the following week,”Bell explained to WKNG’s Seth Cain. “We want the kids and teachers to get well rested and prepare for those tests. The results will give us the ability to compare the first two years of this new testing mechanism. We look forward to see how out students are doing.”
Bell discusses all things Haralson County Schools-related, every Friday morning at 7:30 on AM 1060, WKNG KING Country.
