Crews Search Chattahoochee For Man Believed To Be Drowned

Local authorities continue their underwater search for a west Georgia man who went missing on the Chattahoochee River near McIntosh Reserve in Carroll County.
Carroll County Fire/Rescue Chief Scott Blue says Emergency responders were called out to the area around 8:00pm Saturday.
They have not located the 28-year old male as of 4:00pm Sunday.

"We have isolated about a 600 foot area near McIntosh Park where we have been searching," Blue told WLBB Radio. "We'll stay out as long as we can tonight but that depends on weather, the conditions of the river and how tired our crews get."
Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Douglas County EMA, Coweta County Fire, Coweta County Sheriff's Office, GA DNR and Georgia State Patrol are helping with the search.
