County Could Vote On Several Topics Tuesday

Carrollton, GA -- Several big issues are going to be at the forefront of the February 5th Carroll County Commission meeting. For one, there’s a conflict with the 2nd amendment as it pertains to the county commission chairman’s federally granted authority to “cease” the transportation, sales, and distribution of firearms in a declared state of emergency.

Also up for discussion is the county’s alcohol ordinances as they pertain to wineries that are rapidly arising in the agriculture community.
 
Talks of reforming the funding structure of Carroll County’s Health Department will also be a topic covered in greater detail next Tuesday.
