Additional Arrest made in recent Burglary / Armed Robbery case
An additional suspect was arrested in connection with the recent burglary and robbery arrests.
Lytrez Harrison (19) of Carrollton Georgia was arrested and charged with Robbery, participation in street
gang activity, and Burglary.
Investigators had developed Harrison as a suspect in the offenses early on their initial investigation, but
did not release his identity during the initial release. Harrison and Elder were denied bond during their
initial first appearance hearing and remain in the Carroll County Jail.
On February 18, 2013, Deputies Jonathan Limbaugh and Bran Christian responded to a burglary in the
Villa Rica area. Their efforts not only resulted in the recovery of the property stolen in this burglary, but
property from other thefts in the same area.
Charles Douglas Elder, 17, of Villa Rica and a 16 year old Juvenile were charged with Burglary.
The follow up investigation by Inv. Stephen Stollar quickly identified these defendants as being involved
in the recent armed robbery at a convenience store in Carrollton.
Carrollton Police Department Detectives were notified of the arrest and information.
