A Villa Rica man believed to have been missing since late Friday has been found alive… and in Texas, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office confirmed this morning.
The family of 22-year old Bryan Ivey finally heard from him this morning.
“He has been found alive and well. We’re fixing to pick him up in Texas,” Ivey’s Aunt, Wendy Kidd told WLBB Radio this morning. “The only thing we know is that he was taken against his will.”
Kidd says eight family members are making the 9-hour trip to Texas today.
Kidd admits that it’s been a tough few days for her family.
“Last night was a bad night, I’m not even going to lie to you,” she said. “Me, his wife and his brother were up all night. It was just an emotional night. We had got a possible lead that he was still in Douglas County. Things weren’t looking good. It was just an emotional night.”
They’re expected to meet with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office when they return to discuss the last few days.
